As the peak body for leaders and managers in Australia, The Institute of Managers and Leaders has a proud history of Thought Leadership and Advocacy that supports our Members careers and is at the forefront of leadership and management issues.
The Institute of Managers and Leaders was rebranded from the Australian Institute of Management in July 2017, and our research is more a significant part of our organisation than ever. Whilst we refer to ourselves now as the Institute of Managers and Leaders, our past research will remain cited under the Australian Institute of Management for ease of reference and archiving.
The Institutes thought leadership agenda is focused on five key pillars:
Member Roundtables and Workshops
Members receive exclusive video access to Institute workshops and events. Below are highlights from a recent Culture and Leadership workshop in Melbourne on 18th February. Our Leadership Outlook series is held yearly across 12 locations across Australia providing the opportunity for Members to workshop key culture and leadership areas for their organisation and career.
Do you want to be at the next roundtable event in your area? See our events section to attend ‘Growing the Skills of Managers and Leaders’.
Research is at the forefront of leadership and management issues. Your participation in our research, including regular roundtables and workshops, will ensure our thought leadership initiatives deliver evidence-based, best practice research and advocacy to Australia.
