The pace of change, economic instability, rise of AI and the constant noise of a globally connected world have made the job of leading people more challenging than ever before.
Leaders are still expected to show up, to keep their teams engaged, connected and moving forward – often while managing their own uncertainty, fatigue and doubt.
To open this important conversation on adaptative leadership, Sam Bell FIML CPMgr, CEO of IML ANZ, will introduce our May Lead the Way webinar, and provide an overview of the Institute’s latest white paper, Adaptive Leadership in the AI Era.
Following Sam’s introduction, we’re thrilled to welcome back Mona Momtazian, Founder of Change Capability, who will delve deeper into the critical themes of adaptive leadership:
- The forces reshaping our workplaces right now, and what they are doing to our people
- Why adaptability starts from the inside out
- The four pillars of adaptive leadership
- The Change Support Stack in practice — what you can do at organisational, leadership, and individual levels to support performance and resilience in times of constant change
This session is designed for leaders who are navigating exactly this reality and want to do it better – not by pretending the disruption isn’t real, but by getting clearer on what is within their control and influence.
Register now to secure your place. We look forward to seeing you online on 20 May.

Short Bio
Mona Momtazian is a Psychology of Change Consultant and partners with leaders to navigate complex workplace change and uncertainty with confidence, purpose and adaptability.
She has spent more than 20 years partnering with leaders in Australian and global workplaces, through some of the hardest moments of their working lives. Restructures. Redundancies. Teams falling apart and shifting to completely different ways of working.
Personally, she has navigated sudden loss, unexpected change and more than a few moments where the path forward was unclear. Like many, she learned some of the lessons the hard way.
She is passionate about fostering happier work environments and believes that when people unite and have the right support, they are more capable of navigating difficulties than we can initially imagine.
She is the founder of Change Capability and the creator of the Change Support Stack framework. Drawing on behavioural neuroscience, she has also developed an online learning store designed to inspire active optimism, openness to change, adaptability and resilience, making growth and transformation more accessible and engaging for leaders and teams everywhere.
Mona lives on the Gold Coast, Australia. She is a foodie at heart with a love of nature and is rarely far from her dogs Nahlu and Leo.
