Lead the Way: Leaving Impostor Syndrome behind

As Leaders, we spend our time backing our biggest assets: our teams. But do we sometimes forget to back ourselves?

The term “Impostor Syndrome” might have been around for a while, but the feeling is still prevalent in a lot of leaders. We sometimes struggle to see our own capability and the competence, even though it’s usually what awarded us the leadership roles we have in the first place.

Oftentimes throughout our career, we have moments where we question our ability. Impostor Syndrome can strike at all levels of an organisation, especially in leaders who are new to a particular role or who have been recently promoted.

Our September Lead the Way session will be led by Jess Stuart, Author and performance and leadership coach, who will drill down in to what exactly Impostor Syndrome is, how we can recognise it in ourselves as leaders and in our teams, the impacts of it, and what we can do about it.

Jess will also provide practical strategies to offset Impostor Syndrome and leave us with the confidence and to lead without letting our self-doubt get the better of us.

We hope to see you there!
