How long will it take?
Depending on the volume of lodgements received at different times of the year, the Institute of Managers and Leaders endeavours to complete Migration Skills Assessments within the following standard service times from receipt of a complete application including supporting documentation and payment:
HOLIDAY OFFICE CLOSURE DATES – Please note our office will close for the holidays, with the last working day being 20th December 2024. We will reopen on 6th January 2025. No applications will be processed during this time. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

PLEASE NOTE: If your application is submitted with incomplete data or supporting documents are missing, the assessment process will take longer than our standard service times.
Can I get a refund?
No, the application fee is non-refundable as it covers the professional and administrative costs of processing and assessing your application regardless of the outcome.
However, you may withdraw your application within 2 business days of submission, but please be aware that a A$50 administration fee will be subtracted from the refunded application fee. No refunds are available for applications withdrawn after the initial 2 business days of lodgement.
