Managing performance in a complex workplace landscape

Today’s workplace demands more from leaders than traditional goal-setting and performance reviews. The modern performance landscape is shaped by evolving psychosocial hazard obligations, alongside greater awareness and openness around mental health, wellbeing, and neurodiversity.

In this practical seminar, Ombpoint Managing Director Lindall West explores:

  • How to approach performance management through a contemporary lens
  • How to balance accountability with empathy
  • How to provide clarity with care, and
  • Your responsibilities when it comes to expectations around psychological safety

Through real case studies and practical examples, you’ll gain insights on how to address performance issues confidently, fairly, and respectfully while maintaining a safe, supportive, and high-performing work environment.

Short Bio

Lindall’s successful leadership roles in HR have been built on her authenticity, empathy, pragmatism and decisiveness, allowing her to build highly productive, commercially focused and inclusive teams. It has given her a deep understanding and appreciation of the challenges organisations face when workplace conflict is left unattended – affecting their culture, productivity and bottom line. Coupled with her 20+ years of experience in crisis management and organisational change, Lindall has the experience to help organisations improve their workplaces cultures.

Lindall’s varied HR background spanning different countries, property and financial services industries, and private and not-for-profit sectors, is why she firmly believes Ombpoint can be a critical element to the Employee Value Proposition of organisations, building and sustaining constructive workplace cultures.

To remain firmly grounded, Lindall contributes as a Raise Youth Mentor, volunteers at Lou’s Place (women’s refuge) by providing career support, and serves on the board of Domestic Violence Services Management (DVSM) - experiences that give her a deeper understanding of broader community challenges.
