Lead the Way: Strategies to thrive in 2025

Basketball exemplifies strategy, resilience, teamwork, and skill—qualities that are equally essential for effective leadership.

To conclude our Lead the Way series for the year, we are pleased to welcome Joshua Pascoe, CEO of Basketball QLD. Joshua will provide insights into the past year in leadership, prepare us for the coming year with renewed vigour and purpose, and have you slam dunking into 2025 with a spring in your step and a fire in your belly.

During this session, we will:

  • Reflect on 2024: Assess what strategies to amplify, modify, or maintain as we transition into the new year.
  • Discuss how to develop a clear strategy for 2025.
  • Learn techniques to minimise distractions and concentrate on our strategic goals.
  • Explore practical examples of how to secure team buy-in.
  • Discuss how managers and leaders can support their teams to excel in 2025.

This session will celebrate our achievements from the past year and equip us to excel in leadership both on and off the court.
