It is estimated that over 1 million individuals aged 15–64 living with a chronic illness or disability are currently part of the workforce (source: www.aihw.gov.au).
Consequently, fostering inclusive and accessible workplaces for employees with disabilities and chronic illnesses is crucial in today’s diverse work environment.
By adopting and maintaining key strategies, leaders can cultivate a supportive atmosphere that acknowledges and values the contributions of all employees. In this exclusive panel discussion, we will gain insights from senior leaders; Dean Barton-Smith AM OLY FIML, Jeramy Hope CPMgr CMgr FIML and Kathy Rimmer FIML, who will share their personal experiences of managing teams and creating inclusive and accessible work environments while navigating their own chronic illness or disability. The panel will:
- Provide practical guidance for leaders and their teams on inclusive work arrangements
- Share valuable strategies for fostering a culture that empowers all employees to advocate for inclusive practices; and
- Demonstrate how you can enhance your organisation’s overall effectiveness whilst doing so
We look forward to welcoming you to this insightful session. One truly not to be missed.
