This 4-week program is designed to rapidly develop the fundamental skills required to take management and leadership capability to the next level. Essentials supports leaders to manage and lead teams in varying contexts, combining facilitated learning, online study, profiling, leadership coaching, mentoring and workplace projects for long-term real-world impact.

Over the past 12 years, Lorraine has partnered with organisations to strengthen their business capability and effectiveness across strategic planning and execution, governance structures, leadership development, operational capability, stakeholder alignment and engagement, improved systems and processes, transformation projects, and team development.
Lorraine is also a lecturer, course coordinator, and facilitator for an MBA Program and Bachelor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship across subjects including organisational behaviour, leadership, strategic human resources, start-ups, and governance.

Cheryl has been a senior leader and consultant for many of New Zealand's blue-chip organisations, including Auckland Tourism Events & Economic Development, NZTE, Manukau Institute of Technology, NZ Post and TelstraClear and has worked in a wide range of sectors. A consulting career highlight was establishing Auckland Transition Agency’s project office - the organisation charged with creating Auckland Council. Cheryl is passionate about the human side of change management, supporting clients to find alignment between their personal and professional lives. She facilitates the understanding of barriers and inner workings allowing clients and their employers to realise their full potential and “bring their whole selves” to work. Her passion for neuroscience, story, emotional literacy and mindfulness allows her to support deep reflection and change.

Mark has over 20 years of experience in corporate and military training and facilitation. Mark focuses on assisting organisations to lead the change they aspire to rather than attempting to manage it.
Mark works with some of Australasia’s largest corporations facilitating leadership programs and assisting these organisations through the change process. Mark has significant experience in working in remote and often dangerous environments.
Coupled with his extensive immersion in regional cultures he brings a level of cultural understanding second to none. He has significant experience in the Indo Pacific, developing and delivering culturally appropriate training in project management, leadership, team development, work prioritisation, communication and health and safety.
Matthew’s experience includes working with executive managers to align their personal strategy to corporate strategy, developing leadership styles and strategies that enable executives to identify and leverage value through thought leadership. He has an ability to solve complex organisational problems through identifying core problems/stumbling blocks and transform obstacles into inspirational opportunities. Matthew has worked extensively with executives across a wide range of industries and sectors. He has worked to enhance performance with senior managers in education, resources, energy and utilities, eco-tourism, marketing, finance and banking industries among others. He is also the Program Director of the Australian Graduate School of Management’s flagship General Managers Program.
Rupert Bryce has over 15 years’ experience in leadership development, human resources, consulting and coaching. Rupert’s highly developed coaching skills have helped many employers fulfil their commitment to achieve greater employee performance and engagement, developing strategic thinking skills with high potential employees. Jon is a transformer of leaders, teams and workplaces and a facilitator of growth, development and change. He has extensive private and public sector experience in operational delivery, organisational change, personal performance and team development in Europe, USA, Australasia and the Far East. His energetic and collaborative facilitation style is both supportive and challenging. He likes to encourage innovation, creativity and opportunistic change management. In New Zealand, Jon has led significant change projects and activities in the public sector including merging the Auckland City and Auckland Regional Councils and rolling out a new customer-centric culture program across 44 sports and leisure centres in 2017. He has consulted with, and led training in, contexts as diverse as intellectual disability services, Fire and Emergency NZ, glasshouse horticulture, and the NZ Police service. Jon was also involved in prisoner rehabilitation and fostering the potential and independence in those with intellectual disabilities.
