After careful consideration, the Institute has decided to close all IML ANZ offices and Member Lounges from Monday 16th March. Whilst the situation in Australia and New Zealand remains fluid, IML ANZ believes it is important to lead the way in workplace health and safety by taking prudent and sensible measures to protect the well-being of our Members and employees.
The health and safety of our Members, staff and community is at the heart of this decision. We have implemented this temporary precaution on the recommendation of currently available medical advice. In coming weeks, we will closely monitor the evolving situation and the advice of the Federal Department of Health and we will provide updates to you during that period.
The following measures are currently being implemented:
1. Member Lounge shutdown
All IML ANZ Member Lounges will be temporarily closed from Monday 16th March.
2. Office closure
All offices across Australia and New Zealand will be temporarily closed from Monday 16th March. All staff will continue to work remotely, and business will continue within usual operating hours, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. 3. Reviewed programs and event attendance
All masterclasses, programs and events that have been scheduled will continue to run and will be risk assessed on a case-by-case basis. Attendees will be contacted beforehand to be notified if the program or event will be rescheduled.
