With a trans-disciplinary approach aimed at increasing theoretical and practical outcomes, Vikki Schaffer takes a highly collaborative approach, in both teaching and research, by working with industry, government, and community at all levels (SDG17). Sustainability, innovation, regenerative and design thinking underpin her work, reflected in her role as the School of Business and Creative Industries Sustainability Lead. Vikki is a passionate scholar and researcher, community member and volunteer, who enthusiastically strives to develop and share her knowledge and expertise to support inclusive industries that values people, places and environments.

Matt CEO of Visit Sunshine Coast (VSC) joined the organisation in 2021 after almost five years at the helm of Tourism Fiji. He brought his experience in developing distinct brands for destinations and learnings from managing Fiji’s tourism industry (which contributes close to 40% of the national GDP) to the Sunshine Coast. Matt shares a passion for tourism and has a deep understanding of its role in the local economy and fabric of the community. As a destination marketing professional, he’s always looking forward and seeking new ways to make the Sunshine Coast shine!

Sharon has a diverse background across state and local government, local radio, youth mentoring and sustainable development programs, having setup numerous social enterprises both in Australia and the UK. She is passionate about social justice, Indigenous rights and reconciliation and protecting our environment to secure a sustainable future for our next generation. She is currently Program Associate for the Australian Energy Transformation Team at the Sunrise Project.

Jacqui is a highly experienced environmental and program management professional. She has worked for State and Local Government, the not-for-profit sector, and environmental consulting. Jacqui's diverse skills include extensive experience and knowledge in legislation and compliance, stakeholder engagement, environmental consultancy, project management and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Jacqui is a confident public speaker and facilitator and enjoys drawing on peoples passion and motivations for environmental protection and restoration. In addition to Jacqui’s science qualifications, she has studied leadership, public relations and communications and is particularly interested in the study of behavioural change, specifically behaviours associated with sustainability and climate change.
Recently awarded Sunshine Coast Sustainable Business Woman of the Year, Jacqui's passion is working collaboratively to improve the resilience of the natural environment whilst having the opportunity to lead and inspire others.
