Simon’s company, Southern Cross Coaching & Development, has also been awarded as Regional Finalists for Excellence in Business Ethics for the past 4 consecutive years (2013 – 2016) in the NSW Business Chamber Awards.
Simon is the CEO & Founder of Southern Cross Coaching & Development, which uses applied neuroscience in all its Leadership Development services. Simon built the company from just him to his current team of 33 consultants, trainers, coaches & staff, with clients spanning the Private, Public & not-for-profit Sectors, including ASX Top 10 Listed companies & international organisations.
Simon has over 30 years of practical leadership experience, including 10 years as a Commissioned Officer in the British Royal Air Force controlling air-defence fighter aircraft, including operational tours in the Falkland Islands, Middle East & anti-heroin trafficking operations in Central America with the British SAS.
His corporate experience includes national roles in HR Consulting, Executive Coaching, Business Development & Outplacement in the UK & Australia.
In addition to neuroscience & leadership, Simon is also passionate about improving mental health, having himself recovered from suicidal depression around 14 years ago.
