This event provides an opportunity for all Managers and Leaders to learn about successful leadership in turbulent times from a variety of well-respected leaders in our region, and network with other managers and leaders across a variety of organisations and sectors.  If you are an aspiring leader and wish to learn more about the skills and attributes required to lead through turbulent times and in the future, join us at this event.

We are asking about leadership through the industry disruption that is occurring across various sectors. Disruption is not always negative, there are also many opportunities. Good leadership is important during these times to recognise and act on both threats and opportunities. If you’re in Retail, Accommodation, Taxis, Logistics, Banking, Aged and Disability care, Manufacturing, and your industry hasn’t yet experienced disruption – LOOK OUT. It’s not all bad news, however; disruption can provide significant opportunities.  In this seminar you will:

  • Understand which leadership skills help identify opportunities
  • Discover how to mitigate threats and risk
  • Study winning skills from well-respected local leaders
  • Learn how to succeed by leading through disruption.

Our speakers will share their personal industry-based experiences and reflect on leading and managing in turbulent times, and identify what skills and attributes have been useful and learnings they took away from the experience.
