IML’s annual International Women’s Day (IWD) seeks to change Australian society for the better by creating, supporting and championing women in leadership.

With company policies like affirmative action, maternity leave and blind recruitment helping to combat the pay gap and the glass ceiling, Australia is making progress towards equal representation of genders in business. While there is still considerable progress to be made, it seems that the importance of feminism is now more widely embraced than ever.

Join us on March 8th for a day of intellectual and heartfelt discussion on today’s climate for change and gender equality.

This year’s official IWD theme is #Balanceforbetter. From grassroots activism to worldwide action, we are entering an exciting period of history where the world expects balance. We notice its absence and celebrate it’s presence.

Over a luncheon, our event facilitator Belinda Sanders and inspirational panellists Aysegul Kayahan and Penny Hamilton will be discussing how we can balance for better and supporting and championing women in leadership.
