Setting strategy is the starting point for a successful leader. It is the platform on which you can build your leadership and ultimately make your mark.

David Pich, Chief Executive of the Institute of Managers and Leaders, will talk through the steps you should consider when setting strategy and the reasons why strategies fail.  As the author of IML’s Leadership Matters: 7 skills of very successful leaders’ chapter on Setting Strategy, he knows all too well the impact of good strategy, and the consequences of strategy when it is unaligned with a business’ vision.

Successful leaders set strategy. If you can’t set strategy – and crucially, if you can’t communicate that strategy effectively – you are almost certainly doomed to fail as a leader.

During this session you will learn about:

  • Why your business needs strategy
  • How to set a clear strategy
  • When strategy needs to evolve

*Please note this is a recorded session.
