DOMINIC MAY

“On the awards night it was quite overwhelming meeting some of the most inspirational leaders around Australia. In the student leader category, like most of the other categories, each finalist has contributed immensely to the sustainable development of their personal and organisational endeavours. The University of Newcastle, the Business and Commerce Association, family and friends have shown endless support and encouragement following the awards.

“For me, IML is not a pathway to assist in climbing the corporate ladder, it is a community or a network of like-minded individuals at all stages of their careers, helping each other achieve amazing feats purely by being a part of that community. I hope that this inspires more students to become involved with IML and pursue leadership roles that interest them.

“I am about to start an internship with Tourism Australia in its corporate affairs, government and industry team. This is something I am very excited about.”

“IML…is a community or a network of like-minded individuals at all stages of their careers, helping each other achieve amazing feats.”
